Let me tell you what happened actually. Initially, I was in the rain like everybody else waiting for the fireworks (that was when I used my tripod to take the waterfront pic). I got sick of waiting after a while, gave up, and went into this fastfood chain called "first kitchen". Then (here is the best part), as I was ordering my food, it went "boom" "bang" "bang" outside. Great. I put down my food, ran out again with only my camera, and started shooting in the rain, no tripod, no umbrella. If I had stayed at where I was before, I would have gotten better shots being at a better location, and with my tripod.

Used a stand for this also? I figured out how to put a stand to the camera. Now I need to go get one
